SynergyTech Gets Contribution From Pratt & Whitney

SynergyTech, a non-profit organization that is trying to build a cooperative education and training program for local industry, got a $10,000 boost recently as the result of a contribution from Pratt & Whitney PSD of Springdale.

SynergyTech, also known as Northwest Arkansas Industries for Education, is managed by a seven-member board that represents business and industry and is assisted by an educational advisory board. It is currently conducting training classes in several subject areas, including problem solving, improving oral and written communications, maintenance for bearing and shafts, and precision measuring for business and industry.
