Tull It on the Mountain

Crafton Tull & Associates Inc. in Rogers has won the engineering and architecture job for the Arkansas Catholic Diocese’s new Northwest Arkansas regional high school and junior high. Construction could start this year, but a couple of locations including in Tontitown and near Interstate-540 and Springdale’s Elm Springs exit are still being considered. Word is the school will field athletic teams.

All local parishes will support the school, and it will be open to area students in grades seven through 12. No school name has yet been chosen, but it’s customary in neighboring states for Catholic schools to be named after Saints or Bishops.

Bishop J. Peter Sartain is head of the Arkansas Diocese.
