KFSM Sells Tapes to Benefit Weather Victims

Victims of the holiday snow and ice storm will benefit from the release Jan. 29 of “Ice Storm 2000,” a video by CBS-affiliate KFSM-TV, Channel 5, in Fort Smith and Fayetteville.rAll proceeds from the local footage, which costs $10, plus $4 for shipping and handling, will go to the victims. The video may be purchased online at www.kfsm.com.rThe tape is not KFSM’s first venture into e-commerce, however. The station’s Web site hawks everything from $80 weather radios to movies starring Craig T. Nelson of the CBS shows “Coach” and “The District.”
