Brass Eagle Raises 4Q Expectations
Beleaguered Brass Eagle Inc. of Bentonville, the world’s largest paintball marketer and manufacturer, has announced that, on the basis of stronger-than-expected sales trends, it is raising its net sales and earnings-per-share forecast for the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31, 2000.
Brass Eagle now expects net sales for the fourth quarter of $29 million-$30 million, compared with $16.7 million for the same period last year. The company also expects earnings per share for the fourth quarter of 48-50 cents, compared with 15 cents for the same period in 1999.
