New Bella Vista Church Gets Loan
Village Bible Evangelical Free Church in Bella Vista on Nov. 1 got a loan of $475,000 from the Bank of Bentonville to purchase a building for its sanctuary and classrooms.
Village Bible held its first Sunday worship service Nov. 19 at its new building. The building, about 11,500 SF, is the former Cooper Communities Real Estate office at 210 Town Center S.E. in Bella Vista.
Nick Olsen, trustee chairman of Village Bible, said the building had been converted into Sunday school rooms and a sanctuary that would have a seating capacity of 170. The church has a congregation of 58.
There are no extensive additions planned, but there will be new carpeting.
