UA no SAP
Tyson Foods Inc. plans to partner next year with the UA’s Walton College of Business by donating SAP software that will be used by the school’s MBA program. The software creates fully integrated marketing, accounting, human resources and operations systems for major corporations.
We’re told by a couple of companies that students who master the software will be immediately sought by major firms because they’ll be able to work in any department. Carol Reeves, director of the MBA program, says Tyson’s partnership is easily worth $1.5 million to the university but that no real value can be put on the marketability the knowledge of SAP will give graduates.
