Real Deals – Winter Moving, and Likely Soon
Clinard Construction Co. on July 5 got a $1.04 million loan from Bank of Bentonville to build a new facility for an old business.
rWinter Moving and Storage will be moving from its current home on “A” Street to 2710 Otis Corley Dr. at the Bentonville Industrial Park.
rAbout 23,000 SF of the new building will be warehouse space specifically designed for Winter’s modular storage cubes. The other 3,000 SF will be office space. Winter has also allowed room for up to about 40,000 SF of expansion of a climate-controlled storage facility in the next two years.
rClinard Construction plans to finish the initial phase of Winter’s building by December.
rAmong Clinard’s other ongoing projects are a $380,000, 6,000-SF Bentonville Police Department storage facility, a warehouse and showroom for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. vendor Dorel ($1 million, 16,800 SF), an auxiliary gymnasium for Lincoln Middle School in Bentonville with money donated by brothers Paul and Dick Mahan of Outdoor Cap ($660,000, 11,900 SF), an optical clinic for Dr. William Yoos in Bella Vista ($225,000, 3,200 SF), branch of Bank of Bentonville in Centerton ($582,000, 3,570 SF), Fire Station No. 4 for the City of Bentonville at 900 McCollum St ($670,000, 5,300 SF).
