rRelishing the visual aspects of graphic design, Jodie Daniels and Joe Hinton opened Popart Studio to change the trend of boring Web sites. Presenting information using current technology and appealing design, the new business’ concept could startle the Internet industry.
r”There’s not a lot of strong interactive development in the region,” Daniels said. “It’s a fairly open field.”
rA distinct proficiency with animated Web development, called “flash technology,”comes with Popart Studio’s projects. Hinton has actually written tutorials for the technology.
rBalancing tech aspects with a strong respect for visual design sets the company aside from others in the field, Daniels said.

rAbout $1,800 started the business, because the partners already owned most of the necessary equipment and software. They plan to open an office in Rogers and one in Little Rock within the next year.
