Metova Awarded $45 Million Defense Contract
Metova was recently awarded a multi-year contract to help the U.S. Army Cyber Battle Lab fight cyberspace and electronic warfare.
The technology company with an office in Conway, which announced plans to expand to Fayetteville this week, has experience working with government entities and is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
Competing with eight other companies, Metova was awarded the $45 million firm-fixed-price contract.
“Metova is honored to have the opportunity to support this critical military effort for the ever growing threat in cyber security and electronic warfare,” John Adams, CEO of Metova, said in a press release. “Cybersecurity is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation and we are committed to the success of this effort.”
According to the press release: “Metova will be supporting the Army’s Cyber Battle Lab’s (CBL) mission to provide experimentation support to the warfighter with dynamic network experimentation integrated with cyberspace operations and electronic warfare through Live Experimentation (LE), Modeling and Simulation (M&S), Regional Hub Node – Experimentation (RHN-E) and the Battle Lab Collaborative Simulation Environment (BLCSE).”
The contract with the CBL will help verify proposals and new solutions designed to improve Cyber Electromagnetic Activities and modernizing Electronic Warfare efforts.The contracting activity will be the Army Contracting Command of Fort Gordon, Ga.
