Capitol View App Launches Ahead Of 2014 Election Season
KARK 4 launched its newest app, Capitol View, Sunday morning (Aug. 11) ahead of a 2014 election season that will feature a heated gubernatorial and senate race.
The app is designed to function as an accessory to the television show “Capitol View” that airs Sundays at 8:30 a.m. right before “Meet the Press.” The broadcast, which launched earlier this year, has already become to go-to place for political newsmakers in Arkansas. The show is hosted by Talk Business Arkansas” Roby Brock and KARK/Fox 16 political reporter David Goins. The show was recently named an “Editor”s Pick” by the Arkansas Times in its 2013 “Best of Arkansas” issue.
The Capitol View app provides exclusive insight to the popular political talk show. The app provides the latest political news, video from the most recent broadcast, what”s politically trending on Twitter, an archive of Capitol View interviews and app exclusive segments you won”t find during Sunday”s broadcast on KARK-TV.
“Our viewers are constantly asking for more ways to access our interviews and news segments,” said Brock. “Our new Capitol View app will give them more of what they want as well as provide a new platform for us to deliver exclusive political news content as the campaigns of 2014 heat up.”
