Panelists Analyze Campaign Contributions, Social Media Influence
Two different panels of contributors on this week’s Capitol View program shared their thoughts on the impact of the latest campaign finance reports and social media’s influence on candidates and elections.
Katherine Vasilos of Noble Strategies and Jordan Johnson of CJRW both reviewed campaign contributions and how they might impact primary and general election strategies. Vasilos is the former communications director for the Republican Party of Arkansas. Johnson is a former Democratic candidate for State Representative.
On a second panel, Ryan James, a consultant with Paynal Consulting and Emily Reeves of Stone Ward Communications discussed how social media has altered campaign and election strategies. James works with a number of GOP clients and was instrumental in developing Cong. Tim Griffin’s successful campaign communications operation in 2010 to the present. Reeves is the director of digital innovation and insight planning for Stone Ward.
