AT&T Hiring 75 In Arkansas
AT&T said it will hire 75 new workers for technicians to help with U-verse installation, sales consultants and customer service representatives for the company’s call centers and openings at retail stores across Arkansas.
The company said it has already hired about 250 Arkansans this year. AT&T employs more than 2,200 Arkansans, it said.
“AT&T invested more than $700 million in our Arkansas wireless and wireline networks from 2009 through 2012, and the backbone of that service are our people who work to ensure that Arkansans enjoy a great wireless communications experience,” said Ed Drilling, AT&T’s Arkansas president.
U-Verse technicians are responsible for the installation and customer care of U-verse integrated digital TV, high speed Internet and voice services.
Customer service representatives, who work in call centers, are responsible for sales and support for customers.
In addition, AT&T in several Arkansas cities is hiring for positions in its retail stores, including sales consultants and store managers.
AT&T did not disclose the level of pay for the various positions it is hiring for, but it did say that paid training and benefits were available for the new positions.
