Gov. Mike Beebe (D) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Douglas Avery, Texarkana, reappointed to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2017.

Rick Benson, Imboden, to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2019. Replaces Bill Gipson.

Paul Beran, Fort Smith, to the Criminal Justice Institute Advisory Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2017. Replaces Harold Lassiter.

Buddy Chadick, Fayetteville, to the Board of Correction. Appointment expires December 31, 2019. Replaces Drew Baker.

Steven Cranford, Sims, to the Contractors Licensing Board. Appointment expires December 31, 2017. Replaces Randy McNulty.
