The Museum of Discovery announced two new board of trustee members, Brooke Hicks of Windstream Communications, Inc. and James Jones of Entergy Corporation.
A certified public accountant, Hicks serves as a staff manager for Windstream having worked for the company since 2006, in various roles ranging from Internal Audit to Investor Relations and Capital Markets.
Currently, she manages a successful leadership program that includes internal job rotation, curriculum and coaching. She leads the college recruiting effort for Windstream's accounting/finance organization. Prior, Hic
ks worked for Deloitte and Touche, LLP.
Jones is a customer service regional manager for Entergy, leading those service managers within the central region representing the company with city, county and other government officials. He is involved in local economic development activities, and manages multiple grassroots initiatives.
An Entergy employee since 1987 helping start Entergy's Teamwork Arkansas Economic Development, he has also served in Entergy's unregulated power marketing business. Prior to Entergy, Jones worked for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
