Radio Station To Alter Format For News Programming
Central Arkansas radio listeners can expect a new talk and news station.
Talk Business has confirmed that KKSP 93.3 FM will convert from a “Big Rock” format to a center-right news and talk format. No word on what the name of the new station may brand itself as.
KKSP is owned by Crain Media and run by legendary radio operator Neal Gladner.
We’re also told the new format will feature a mix of local news, commentary and interviews as well as some nationally syndicated talk shows. Expect some politics, financial news and locally-produced programming.
More details are expected later in the week.
The station aims to compete with KARN Newsradio 920 AM/102.9 FM, which offers similar programming with local news and conservative national radio pundits.
