The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that Westrock Coffee will expand into more than 800 Wal-Mart stores in the U.S.
Westrock, founded by former Alltel CEO Scott Ford and several other executives, was formed in 2009 as an investment in Rwanda, a country where several Arkansas business leaders have worked to create American-Rwandan partnerships.
Westrock grows coffee beans in several regions of Rwanda and roasts and processes the beans at a North Little Rock facility. You can learn more about the company at this link.
