Got Microsoft Skills? Win A Trip To Orlando or Dallas
If you’re a whiz with Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint, you might as well angle for a trip to Orland or Dallas.
The Arkansas Department of Career Education and test delivery provider Certiport are sponsoring the 2015 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Arkansas State Championship.
Competitors will showcase their skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in a contest that opened March 23rd and will remain open until May 1st.
The top winners will represent Arkansas at the 2015 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship in Orlando, Florida June 18–20, 2015.
Arkansas students age 13 to 22 are eligible to participate in one of six competition tracks by submitting a qualified, passing score on any of the following exams by May 1, 2015:
- Microsoft Office Specialist Word (2013 or 2010)
- Microsoft Office Specialist Excel (2013 or 2010)
- Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint (2013 or 2010)
Six state champions with qualified MOS exam entries, one per track, will be named and invited to represent their state and compete at the 2015 MOS U.S. National Championship.

Being named best in the state at Microsoft Office is a resume booster and an experience the winners will never forget.”
National champions will win an all-expenses-paid trip to compete in the 2015 MOS World Championship in Dallas, Texas on August 9-12, 2015.
