Alley Scholars ‘Shark Tank’ Competition at UA This Weekend
Teams of undergraduate students from Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas will compete in the Alley Scholars Shark Tank Business Plan Challenge this Saturday on the campus of the University of Arkansas.
The business plan teams are made up of minority students and those from other underrepresented groups.
The event takes place at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development on the UA campus. The summit begins a 8 a.m. and the business plan competition begins at 1:30 p.m.
Speakers at the event include Charles Robinson, Vice Chancellor for Diversity & Community for the University of Arkansas; Jamail Larkins, Larkins Enterprises, Inc.; and Troy Alley, Founder of Alley Scholars
Parking: Parking is available in the Harmon Avenue Parking Garage.
Alley Scholars is a non-profit initiative for underrepresented students established by Troy and Unnice Alley with support from the Gerald and Candace Alley Foundation.
