Housing market details show stable trends

The days-on-market of an average-price home sold in during the first quarter of 2009 in Crawford County and Sebastian County was 132 days and 118 days, respectively. Both figures represent a slight increase compared to the first quarter of 2008.

In comparing Crawford and Sebastian counties, the only difference in first-quarter trends is that the average square-foot price of a home in Crawford County is down. Although combined first quarter 2009 home sales in Crawford and Sebastian Counties are down 21.9%, the market trends (prices, days-on-market, etc.) in both area are relatively stable.
