4th Annual Fort Smith Volunteer Fair

Saturday, September 26 from 9:00am-1:00pm –  River Park Events Building 121 –  Riverfront Drive Fort Smith, AR 72901 

All Fort Smith area locals are invited to attend the 4th Annual Fort Smith Volunteer Fair. This event will include over twenty local historic and natural sites as well as volunteer organizations throughout the Fort Smith area. Interested volunteers will have a chance to see all the local sites that they could become a part of. These volunteer positions include anything from staffing front desks, to grounds maintenance, to giving tours. Come on out and see what position best fits you and your talents. It is a great chance to build your resume, share your skills, make new friends, and strengthen your community.

Organizations include: Fort Smith National Historic Site, Fort Smith Museum of History, Miss Laura's Visitor Center, U.S. Marshal's Museum, Janet Huckabee Nature Center, Fort Smith Trolley Museum, Clayton House, Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, Chaffee Crossing, Drennon-Scott House, Fort Smith Parks and Recreation, Chaffee Crossing, RSVP, Lake Fort Smith State Park, Spiro Mounds Archeological Center, Heavener Runestone Park, Devil’s Den State Park, Sequoyah’s Cabin, Girl Scouts, Ronald McDonald House, Mercy Hospice, Western Arkansas Master Naturalist, and Project Compassion.
