On behalf of the Fort Smith Museum of History Board of Trustees and staff, please consider a contribution on Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2014.  Celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27, followed by Black Friday, Shop Local Saturday, Cyber Monday and now Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. 

On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, charities, families, businesses, community centers and students around the world will come together for one common purpose:  to celebrate generosity and to give.  It is a simple idea.  Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity.  

The Fort Smith Museum of History has a long tradition in the region.  Since 1910, the museum has contributed to preserving the rich history of Fort Smith and the area.  Please assist us in continuing this tradition with a gift on Giving Tuesday.  The special day provides an opportunity to open the holiday season with a gift in memory of or in honor of friends and family.  To participate, please call the museum at 479-783-7841 or send your contribution to the Fort Smith Museum of History, 320 Rogers Avenue, Fort Smith, AR  72901.
