Life Time plans to build 100,000-square-foot athletic club in Rogers

Chanhassen, Minn.-based Life Time Inc., a publicly traded fitness company with 195 athletic country clubs in the United States and Canada, is planning to build a two-level, 100,000-square-foot club in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers.
Life Time employees are working with city staff on the site plans, which have yet to be approved by the city. A timeline for when the project plans will come before the city for a vote has not been determined.
A preliminary site study shows a two-level, 100,000-square-foot Life Time and an adjacent 40,000-square-foot pool deck and bistro at Pinnacle Village on South Pinnacle Hills Parkway.
Alex Blass, president of Blue Ribbon Industries in Rogers, is working on the 27-acre mixed-use Pinnacle Village, which will include a multi-story office building, apartments, retail, and a hotel site. The property is south of the Walmart Neighborhood Market on West Pauline Whitaker Parkway.
This would be the first Life Time development in Arkansas. The nearest club is in Tulsa, Okla.
Life Time isn’t entirely new to Northwest Arkansas. It hosts the Life Time Big Sugar Gravel and Life Time Little Sugar MTB in Bentonville. Registration is open for the Life Time Big Sugar Classic taking place from Oct. 11-17. The Life Time Little Sugar MTB is Oct. 11, and the Life Time Big Sugar Gravel is Oct. 17.

It features a leisure pool with waterslides, a six-lane lap pool, cabanas, lounge chairs and an outdoor dining area and bar. There are also studios and group fitness spaces; recovery and wellness spaces; five pickleball courts; luxury dressing rooms with wet suites featuring sauna, steam, warm spa and cold plunge, and family changing rooms; a full-service salon and spa for hair, massage, skin and nails and rejuvenating services; a café; children’s programs; and a lounge/co-working space.
Shares of Life Time (NYSE: LTH) closed Wednesday (July 22) at $42.06, down 22 cents or 0.52%. In the past 52 weeks the stock has ranged from $24.14 and $43.96.
