Edgar “Ed” Washington Travers Jr.

Edgar “Ed” Travers, 74, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Ed was born on September 20, 1951, in Great Lakes, IL to Edgar and Bonnie Travers. He graduated in the top of his class and went on to pursue a successful career in finance. Ed enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Travers, his children, Jessica and David, and his beloved grandchildren, Emma and Matt. A memorial service will be held on July 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home.
