Dorothy Maxine Hart

Dorothy Maxine Hart, 83, of Hackett, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, June 26, 2026 in Hackett. She was born January 28, 1943, in Colchester, Illinois to the late Raph Lee and Maxine Fern Hill.

She is survived by her children, Gary V. Hart and wife, Sherrie of the home, Connie Gamble and husband, Jack of Fort Smith, Renita Rowe and husband, Joe of Bonanza and Richard Decker and wife, Vicky of Bonanza; one brother, Lindal Hill of Branson West, Missouri; nine grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren, plus one due in October. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Hart, five brothers, two sisters and a great grandson.

Graveside service will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, July 2 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
