Bronson Edwin Andrews of Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 18, 1935, in Lavaca to the late W.E. Andrews and Lossie (Gantt) Andrews. He was 90 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 65 years, Patsy Ann (Floyd) Andrews; and a brother, Hershel Andrews.

For several years, Bronson was vice-president of Farmers Bank in Greenwood. He owned and operated Andrews Shopper’s Market in Lavaca, and was a retired rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Bronson was a man of faith and member of Union Baptist Church. He loved his family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12th at Mayberry Cemetery in Central City, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Pastor Kyle Horton.

He is survived by a daughter, Sheri Brewton and husband Richard Hudson of Pittsburg, Kansas; two sons, Mike Andrews and wife Paula of Fort Smith and Mitch Andrews and wife Cindy of Lavaca; (7) grandchildren, Dana Ward and husband Joe, Mark Andrews and wife Jessica, Patrick Andrews and wife Abbey, Leslie Staser and husband Donald, Alex Brewton and wife Brittni, Samantha Rodebush and husband Matthew, and Mikah Klein and husband Cory; (14) great-grandchildren; and (4) great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Dana Ward, Mark Andrews, Patrick Andrews, Leslie Staser, Alex Brewton, Samantha Rodebush, and Mikah Klein.

The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
