Jackie Wayne “Jack” Lucas

Jackie Wayne “Jack” Lucas,82, of Fort Smith passed away on Thursday January 8, 2026 in Fort Smith. He was born July 16, 1943 in Paris, AR to Richard and Willie (Young) Lucas. Jack was retired operations manager for DanCorp Transit, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Greenwood. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife Pearl of the home; one daughter, Laura Craft and her husband Tommy of Fort Smith; one son, Bart Lucas and his wife, Andrea of Terrell, TX; three grandchildren, Dylan, and Abigail Craft and Taylor Sexton.

Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday January 12, 2026 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with Military Honors under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Stan Burkhart, Gary LaRue, Jeremy Key, Tommy, Dylan and Richard Craft.
