Herbert Kenny Rock

Herbert Kenny Rock, 81, of Alma, Arkansas, passed from this life on December 28, 2025. Born on January 12, 1944, Herbert lived a life shaped by faith, family, and a deep connection to his Cherokee heritage. He was a devoted Seventh-day Adventist whose quiet strength and steady presence touched everyone who knew him.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Rock Sr. and Lilian Boland, as well as his siblings Mary Turner, Charlie Rock Jr., Florence Guthrie, Junie Sue Walker, and John Rock. Their memories remained a guiding light throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlene (Cook) Rock; sister, Sarah Rex, and by his children: Heather Alaniz, Kevin Finch, Jessie Cook, Donise Owens, Kim Rock Collins, Hollie Rock Pierce, and Jason Rock. Herbert was blessed with a large and loving family, including 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him joy and pride.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Owens, Lyle Collins, Austin Pierce, Adam Pierce, Dusty Rock, and Mackey Rock. Honorary pallbearers are Rusty Rock, Keith Rock, Chris Rock, and Michael Rock.

A graveside service will take place at Toney Cemetery in Webber Falls, Oklahoma, on January 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Visitation will be held on January 1, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E. Alma, Arkansas 72921.

Herbert will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for his family, and the gentle wisdom he shared throughout his life. His legacy lives on in the generations who follow him, carrying forward the values he held dear.
