Born in Shafter, California, Jerry called many places home throughout his life. He was a follower of Jesus Christ. Jerry had a natural gift for storytelling and truly never met a stranger. He often joked that he loved to “travel fast.” Over the years, he wore many hats—he was a talented cook, well known for his “hot meat,” a dedicated truck driver, a race car driver proudly known as #49, and a Kenny Rogers impersonator who performed with Legends. He also brought joy to many by playing Santa Claus, sharing laughter and smiles wherever he went.
Jerry will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and his stories. His legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
