Dale Gordon “Camel” Westfall, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on November 21, 2025. Born on May 21, 1943, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Dale lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to his family, faith, and a deep commitment to his community.

Dale began his career as a tower erector with Bethlehem Tower Service. His dedication and entrepreneurial spirit later led him to establish his own business, Westfall Tower Service. Through this venture, he built not only towers but also a reputation for integrity and perseverance that earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike all across the country.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dale was known for his many talents and passions. A skilled CB radio repairman and beekeeper, he was always ready to lend a hand or share his knowledge. In his neighborhood, he became affectionately known as the local bicycle repairman—always willing to help children get back on the road with a smile and a freshly tuned bike.

Dale was a devout Christian throughout his life and was affiliated with the Free Will Baptist Church. His faith was a guiding force that shaped his values and actions.

Dale was a proud father and loving husband. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Vernia Faye Westfall (76); daughters Melinda Ann Reeves (59) and her husband Steve Loyd Reeves (60), Barbara Ann Jones (56), and Carrie Ann Westfall (49); son Dustin Ray Westfall (39); and his sister Barbara Gail Denson (85). He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and resilience.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Gordon Westfall; his mother, Gayla Jewel Finn; and grandson Anthony Dwight Vaughn.
