Genevieve Seratt

Genevieve Seratt, loving mother and wife, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 18, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 77.

Born August 17, 1948, in Schaberg, Arkansas, Genevieve was the daughter of the late Emery Nelson “Jim” and Lillian (Harrison) Ridenour. She was an enthusiastic football fan who loved cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her sisters Ruby Lee Ridenour, Bethal May Ridenour, and Irene Poor; and by her brothers Johnny Ridenour and Ralph Ridenour.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Delmar Seratt; her children Randy Seratt and wife Holly of Chester, Cindy Drummond and husband Gregg of Bidville, Christopher Seratt and wife Amber of Winslow, Jessica Kelly and husband Royce of Chester, April Morgan of Tulsa, and Nathian Seratt and partner Crystal of Chester; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her brother Billy Ridenour.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
