CALL FOR WORKS – DEADLINE SUNDAY OCTOBER 13TH FOR DROP OFFS AND MONDAY OCTOBER 14TH FOR MAILED WORKS
What does your idea of hope look like? The Fort Smith Regional Art Museum is partnering with the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, which is the leading national organization for breast cancer awareness. Join in and share your vision of hope and make a positive impact in your community through your creativity.
This invitational is open to artists of all ages, backgrounds, and artistic ability. Submissions can be any media and all works will be part of a silent auction that will take place on the evening of Thursday, October 24, 5:00-7:00PM. Works will be on view at RAM through November. This exhibit is a fundraiser, and all proceeds from sales will benefit the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen and RAM’s educational programs.
Komen Ozark began organizing fundraising and awareness events, such as health fairs, educational programs, luncheons, and the annual “Paint the Park Pink,” in 2007. This exhibit looks to use art and creativity to raise awareness ad to have a positive impact on the community.
Deadline for delivery of artwork: Sunday, October 13, 2013
Opening reception and auction: Thursday, October 24, 5:00-7:00PM
This is an open invitational. Submissions must include: Artist’s name and contact information, title for work, year, media, dimensions of work, and a one paragraph description about how this work communicates your idea of hope.

In person deliveries will be accept3d during museum operating hours: Thursday- Saturday 11:00AM-6:00PM and Sundays 1:00-5:00PM. Last day for drop offs is Sunday October 13th, and last day to receive mailed works is Monday October 14th.
In order to be exhibited, artwork must be properly wrapped, labeled, and ready to hang.
