Tracey Dawn Stecher

Tracey Dawn Stecher, 58, took her last breath on August 15, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Ft Smith after a valiant struggle with complications from a brain bleed. She was born in Ft Smith on August 8, 1967 and graduated from Southside High School. She went on to Northeast Louisiana University and North Texas State University to pursue a degree in Music and Business. Her career led her to become a Corporate Trainer for years with both Mary Kay Headquarters and later Premiere Designs Inc., both in the Dallas area.

During her life, Tracey was extremely bright, creative, and passionate, all of which inspired those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Kathryn Stecher and a brother, David Stecher. She is survived by her beloved son, Joshua Curry, and her sister, Sharon Guthrie and brother in law, Gary, her nieces Angela and Ali Guthrie, and Kamie Stecher, and her best friend, Gina Richardson.

Throughout her life Tracey faced many challenges which she met with humor, strength, and determination. She was not one to become easily discouraged or let life’s hardships steal her joy. Her perseverance and spirit will be remembered always and her memory will live in the hearts of those who knew her.
