James Douglas South

James Douglas South, 55, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 20, 2025. He was born in Fort Smith on December 17, 1969 to the late James Ray and Jeanette (Hickey) South. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael Harris and Brain South; his maternal grandparents and three uncles.

He is survived by his son, Axel South of Monmouth, OR; two brothers, Lyle Harris and Eric Harris both of Cedarville; a sister, Cristal South of Van Buren; one aunt and uncle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.
