Carolyn Ann Stubblefield, 87, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 in Little Rock. She was born August 7, 1938 in Scranton to the late Toney and Cecilia (Schmitz) Schwartz. She had worked for North Arkansas Surgical Supply for over 30 years. She was Catholic, and raised by a strong Catholic family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Delbert G. Stubblefield; two sisters, Laverne Brewer and Glenda Needham; and a brother, Jerome Schwartz.
She is survived by three daughters, Becky Smyers and husband Brad, Cheryl Crainshaw and husband Aaron, and Candice Mills and husband Tony, all of Van Buren; seven grandchildren, Kelsey Waid (Steven), Kristy Lee, Rickey Harris II (Marsha), Nicole Jones (Charlie), Carrie Pottorff (Bryan), Kaycee Spahn, and Callie Gold (Dalton); six bonus grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several bonus great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Steven Waid, Rickey Harris, Charlie Jones, Bryan Pottorff, Dalton Gold, Tim Needham, James Schwartz, and Bill Shannon.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
