Gwendolyn Marjorie Farrell, born July 6, 1929, in National City, California, and passed away August 11, 2025, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Gwen, affectionately known as Grandma, lived a vibrant life, defying expectations even at 96 years old. She maintained her style, driving her own car, and enjoying meals out, often with family. A successful real estate agent in Orange County, she cherished the beach and ocean lifestyle. Gwen was a devoted animal lover, caring for raccoons and her beloved rescue cat, Trixie. She also served proudly in the U.S. Coastguard. Her greatest pride was her family. She was the daughter of Roger Lindholm and Emma Riley Lindholm, and the middle child and only sister to her brothers, Roger and Gordon Lindholm. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Richard Koryta, and grandsons Daniel Koryta and Damon Mobley. Gwen is survived by her four children: Sharon Pearson Koryta, Sheryl Pearson Sanders, Donald Mobley, and Brett Farrell. Her legacy continues with ten grandchildren: Traci Edwards (Jeff), Rick Koryta (Patty), Jason Koryta (Michella), Wendi Todd, Jamie Koryta, Sarah Sanders, Andy Sanders, Ryan Koryta (Aimee), Danielle Woo (David), and April Weathers (Nick). She also leaves behind 22 Great Grandchildren and 27 Great Great Grandchildren. Gwen’s life was marked by finding the good in every situation, whether traveling the world, crafting dolls, moving to Arkansas, teaching her grandchildren, sharing recipes, or enjoying music.
