Vickie Jean Ashworth, 65, of Van Buren passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born in Fort Smith on April 9, 1960 to the late Elmer and Jewel (Revis) Darrow. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda, Sue and Lou; brothers, Harley, Allen and Ronnie; a close friend, John Hallmond.
She is survived by her spouse, Danny Bowlin of the home; a daughter, Audra Carter and husband Keith; two sons, Daniel Bowlin and wife Dana, Dewayne Bowlin and wife Kelly all of Van Buren; two sisters, Rhonda Kay Beales and Christy Darrow; brothers, Robert Darrow, Kenneth Darrow, Cliff Bowlin and Leon Bowlin; grandchildren, Victoria, Ashley, Michelle, Candace, Dustin, Jimmy, Daniel, Pamela, Brian, Mary, Kyla, Hailey, Dasie and Darren; numerous great-grandchildren and her mother in law Georgia Bowlin.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 2 – 4 P.M. Sunday July 20, 2025 at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St.
