Velma L. Allenbaugh passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Thursday, July 10, 2025. She was born in Alma, AR on July 1, 1930, to the late L. F. and Rosa (Sanders) Gregory. She worked for Dixie Cup and the United States Postal Service before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, L. Dee Faucher and Melbourne Allenbaugh; a daughter, Dianna Faucher-Breeden; sisters, Kathleen Squires and Mary Alice Reed; brothers, Frank Gregory Jr., Tommy Gregory, Bill Gregory and Darrell Gregory.
Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow at Gregory Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Horton of Van Buren; a son, Mike Faucher and wife Donna of Van Buren; sister-in-law, Saundra Gregory of Alma; brother-in-law, Rufus Reed of Alma; six grandchildren, Brian Horton, Teresa Pendergrass, Grayson Breeden, Aaron Faucher, Steven Faucher and Michelle Faucher; four great-grandchildren, Autumn Horton, Tia Horton, Carson Shannon and Brylee Pendergrass.
The family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior (9A.M) to the service.
