Preservation Workshops

Perplexed on how to care for that photograph of your great-grandparents, the family Bible, or old diaries and letters? Then mark your calendar for Saturdays July 27th and August 24th.  Museum Curator, Connie Manning, will host two workshops on preservation. On July 27th, the discussion will focus on the preservation of documents and books. Then on August 24th, the focus is the preservation of photographs and negatives, from 1839 to today! Examples of enclosures, such as file folders, envelopes, and boxes, will be shown. Each workshop will last one hour with 30 minutes reserved for questions and answers.
