Donna Kay Mayhew

Donna Kay Mayhew, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, January 6, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born September 21, 1947, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Joe Rich and Georgia Mae (Jackson) Rich. Donna shared a beautiful life with her husband and soulmate, Robert Eugene Mayhew. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Donna devoted 33 years of her career to WW&L before retiring. She will be remembered as a tough-loving person who genuinely loved and cared for everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life, however, was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. Rain or shine, she never missed an opportunity to cheer on and support her children. Donna leaves behind one daughter, Kristie Mayhew of Van Buren, Arkansas; three beloved grandchildren, Tyler Logan Mayhew; Lynnle Sloane Mayhew; and Ryese Madisyn Mayhew; one brother, Larry Rich; one sister, Barbara Neihouse; She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Georgia Rich; her loving husband; Robert Eugene Mayhew; daughter, Kimberly Mayhew; and one sister, Diane Haskins.

A Family Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at CrossPointe Church, located at 3304 Kibler Road in Van Buren, AR 72956. The family will hold a private Memorial Service at a later time. Pastor Ronny Mayfield is to officiate. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
