Arkansas Democrats name Micah Wallace as communications chief
The Democratic Party of Arkansas announced Thursday (Dec. 5) that Micah Wallace will head the party’s communications department.
Wallace, a native of Hope, designed and executed a party rebranding, expanded its press footprint with tactical earned media, and grew and professionalized its digital and social accounts.
“There is simply nothing she cannot do in the communications space, and Arkansas Democrats already know her work, attention to detail, and tireless work ethic,” said Grant Tennille, Chair of the Democratic Party of Arkansas. “Micah has worked with us for years, and we are ecstatic she’s coming to work every day at our office with the most talented State Party staff anywhere in the country.”
Most recently, she worked on the Marcus Jones for Congress campaign.
Wallace follows Reed Brewer as the state party’s media contact. Since 2021, Wallace has run a local consulting firm that she co-founded with Brewer, who first started working with the party in 2018.
“Working here is a dream come true,” said Wallace. “I’m ready to tell the story of Arkansas Democrats, from our Southern hospitality, to our heart for people, and our grit to make a real difference. I will work every single day to keep Arkansans informed about what’s happening in Little Rock and to spread the good word about how Democrats are working to provide economic relief to the hard-working folks across Arkansas.”
