The Levitt AMP Fort Smith Music Series will kick off Friday (Aug. 30) with soul singer Nadjah Nicole. The series will showcase a live concert at 6 p.m. Friday through Sept. 27 at the Riverfront Amphitheater.

Sponsored in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a social impact funder supporting nonprofits nationwide at the intersection of music, public space, and community building, the Levitt AMP Music Series works to inject new life into underused public spaces through free, outdoor concerts across the nation.

Main Street Fort Smith, formerly 64.6 Downtown, announced the lineup Aug. 16, saying there would be five concerts in September. The organization received a $90,000 grant from the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation in 2023 to continue the outdoor music series it has held since 2021. The funding continues the series through 2025.

Fall music series line-up includes:
• Friday: Nadjah Nicole – soul singer
• Sept. 6: Eric Johanson – American singer and guitarist
• Sep. 13 – LA 45 – 10-piece Tejano band
• Sept. 20: Lola Kirke – country-informed pop/rock singer, songwriter and actress
• Sept. 27: Larry & Joe – fusion of Venezuelan and Appalachian folk

There will be food and drink vendors, a KidsZone, and a vendor Marketplace. Pets are allowed. Admission is free. The City of Fort Smith and Dream Alliance Foundation are also sponsors of the concert series.
