Ozark, Mo.-based Big Whiskey’s plans to build a fourth Northwest Arkansas restaurant.

According to preliminary filings with the Rogers Planning Commission, the proposed site is in Rogers’ Pleasant Crossing area east of Interstate 49. The development plan indicates a 14,122-square-foot building at the northeast corner of the West Pleasant Grove/Dixieland intersection.

Shane Miller is the Northwest Arkansas franchisee with stores in Bentonville (2017), Siloam Springs (2020) and Fayetteville (2021). He said the land, owned by Whisinvest Realty, is under contract, and the sale is on track to close early this year. In addition to the restaurant, Miller said the building will have at least one other tenant.

Landscape architect Prism Design Studio, engineering firm Olsson and design firm BUF Studio are all working on the project.

Big Whiskey’s, with a diverse menu of burgers, wings, sandwiches, pasta and steaks, opened its first restaurant in downtown Springfield, Mo., in 2006. The company now has 15 restaurants.
