Economics Arkansas adds eight to board of directors

The board of directors for Economics Arkansas added eight new members at its May meeting. The appointments took effect on June 1, 2023.

The new board members include:

  • Matuschka Lindo Briggs, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis – Little Rock Branch
  • Phillip Carlock, Pine Bluff School District
  • Jason Chacko, Morgan Stanley
  • Dr. Jared Cleveland, Springdale Public Schools
  • Miles Goggans, Lobbyist
  • Patrick McAlpine, Stephens Inc.
  • Matt Vick, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
  • Matt Wahl, Forvis Wealth Advisors

The Economics Arkansas Foundation board of directors also voted to appoint Will Rockefeller of Bank OZK as its newest member on May 31, 2023.

Economics Arkansas is a private, non-profit, non-partisan, educational organization founded in 1962 to promote economic literacy in Arkansas. Its mission is to equip PreK-12 schools with training and resources to teach economics and personal finance to students.
