Ark Angel Alliance hires Melissa Kempkes as executive director
The Ark Angel Alliance announced Tuesday (June 20) it has hired Melissa Kempkes as its new executive director. She replaces David Moody who has taken another job, but will remain active in the network.
Kempkes co-founded Storage Trader, the first fractional investment platform exclusively for investment in self-storage facilities. Previously, Kempkes held key positions as Vice President at Natural Capital, Portfolio Manager at i2E, Inc., and Investment Analyst at Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System.
“I am honored to assume the role of Executive Director for the Ark Angel Alliance, where the unique opportunities found in Arkansas’ thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem can be translated into impactful investments,” Kempkes said.
Ark Angel Alliance members invest in start-up companies founded in Arkansas.
The alliance is a group of investors, business leaders, and community leaders committed to growing the Arkansas economy by capitalizing the most promising startup companies in the region and throughout the state.
