Trinidad and Tobago
The sensuous idyll of tropical climate is never better illustrated than the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Join us for the bird-watching, tropical forests, and mangrove swamps teeming with wildlife, or just relax on the colonial verandahs and let the wildlife come to you! Noted ornithologist and UAFS professor, DR. Ragupathy Kannan will lead this amazing tour with accommodations at the world renowned Asa Wright Nature Centre, a former coffee plantation with views and wildlife and especially bird watching that will astound you! Other experiences will include cave-climbing to see birds that use sound to move around, and then down to the bay as the leatherneck turtles come ashore to breed. These two islands have much to offer in history, culture, and bio-diversity. We are sure you will enjoy this week long adventure!
