Bobby is a fantastic chef, and David is a great host and humorist. The majestically situated Greek revival mansion is shaded by pecan trees and cooled by the breezes flowing off Bearskin Lake. Marslgate’s rooms, furniture, paintings, and countless mementos illuminate the rich historical and cultural heritage of the American South. We’ll bet you’ve never seen such a tremendous amount of gilding, marble, crystal, silks, porcelain, and silver so openly displayed in this 33-room ode to Southern, “…if you’ve got it, flaunt it, honey.” A delicious lunch is included.
