From the earliest known evidences of prehistoric man to the multitude of organized and very detailed religions of today, mankind has always sought to know and interact with greater powers. This course will look into the question of why this is so, review historical evidences regarding the birth and development of religious expression, and explore the meaning and relevancy, to our personal viewpoint, of the discoveries we make regarding the subject.
