Qigong (Chi Kung), meaning “to work or exercise the vital life force (qi),” is the 5000-year-old Chinese system of self-healing exercises and deep breathing techniques once the secret knowledge of martial artists and the Chinese elite. Qigong’s gentle exercises and mental techniques are proven to help maintain good health, produce healing for illness, injury, and stress, and significantly improve quality of life. Suzanne Parnell, who has trained with several Qigong Masters, most recently in the Shaolin Wahnam lineage of Sifu Wong Kiew Kit, will teach you gentle but powerful Qigong exercises that you can use daily to create and maintain your health and vitality. No athleticism required. This short class can be combined with the meditation workshop for a new, healthy, and balanced lifestyle.
