ATU-Ozark names new student recruitment coordinator
John “Jack” Phillips IV of Walnut Ridge has been named its new coordinator of student recruitment for the Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus.
A graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Phillips holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in writing. While enrolled at UCA, he interned for U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., in Washington, D.C. and served as vice president of finance for the UCA Student Government Association.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to work for Arkansas Tech-Ozark,” he said. “This has been one of the fastest growing and most successful universities in the state, and I look forward to upholding the high standards that Dr. Blondin and her staff have set by bringing more great students to our campus.”
Phillips also served as vice president of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, president of the UCA Interfraternity Council and volunteered for the Miracle Network and Faulkner County Boys and Girls Club.
