Crystal Bridges publishes “C” for members (Updated)
BENTONVILLE — Membership has its privileges at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and one of them is a magazine dedicated solely to the goings on there.
The magazine, titled C, was distributed to media who attended a launch event at the museum on Friday (March 30). Museum members should start seeing it in their mailboxes soon, said Amber Hendrickson, media relations manager for Crystal Bridges. The cover of the first issue portrays artist Nick Cave, maker of the famous "Sound Suit" seen on Crystal Bridges' billboards and other promotional materials. The cover story is titled "Suits Me."
The 40-page magazine, dedicated solely to Crystal Bridges, will be mailed to 6,088 member households, Hendrickson said.
“It was designed in house, and all the stories were written in house,” she said.
Two magazines will come out this year; beginning in 2013, the magazine will be published three times a year.
